The James Dinwiddie Collection

The fonds consists of the personal papers of Dr. James Dinwiddie. It includes his lecture notes, scientific journals, notebooks, manuscript, correspondence, and personal journals. The papers also include the journals of W.J. Proudfoot and a biography of his father (and Dinwiddie's son-in-law) James Proudfoot. Much of the material was already bound together and organized into various sections when it arrived, and for the bulk of this material that arrangement was maintained.

The James Dinwiddie papers are available to researchers. Due to the fragile nature of this collection, certain restrictions and handling precautions will apply. Those interested should have a look at the inventory and contact the Archives about their area of interest.
