Biographical Sketch

Dr. Blackett was born in 1892 and graduated from Dalhousie Medical School in 1915. Upon completion of his medical training he moved to New Glasgow and established a medical practice, which he maintained until the mid 1950s.

He passed away in 1957.

Accession 71-77. The records were donated by Edna Blackett, widow of Dr. Blackett, in 1977.

The fonds consists of newspaper clippings, correspondence and a Canadian Medical Corps Christmas card (c1916).
