Working the System – Making the Most of the Library

If you aren’t sure how to go about researching in your subject area then come to this workshop where a librarian will introduce you to the important tools you will need to succeed. In a hands-on workshop we will explore the online resources that are available to you – Novanet, electronic journals and databases. We will show you the many ways to obtain assistance both in person and online and we will help you understand what academic integrity is and the resources such as RefWoks that can help you achieve it.

Optimize your research – Essential Tools for Graduate Students

There are many tools and resources available that can make your life a lot easier. Come to a hands-on workshop that will explore time saving tools such as RefWorks and Delicious. Take advantage of services like Document Delivery that can obtain any item you need for your research. Learn about the specialized resources such as government documents, theses and statistics that will give your research that extra edge. You can’t afford not to use every opportunity you have to develop your research skills.
