Description: Shan is originally from Nanjing, China. She came
to Canada in 2001, then moved from Vancouver to Halifax in 2002. She
joined the Waldren Project in September 2003 and enjoyed the job.
Shan has created a small database of early Chinese Immigrants in Nova
Scotia (1870-1940) based on the images in the Waldren Studios photograph
collection. Shan will graduate from the MLIS program at Dalhousie
University in April 2004, and she hopes to settle down in Canada and
start a career as a librarian or an archivist. |
